Mom-certified: "You always make such a mess when you cook"
Fall is almost here and Vegan MoFo (Month of Food) is in the air! An entire month of vegan food blogging almost makes up for the end of summer and the inevitable creep towards another round of Minnesota snowmageddon. As a novice blogger and first-time Vegan MoFo participant, I wanted to start by veganizing my favorite family recipes. Food is such a huge part of holidays and family traditions and becoming vegan is no reason to miss out. If anything, it's a chance to infuse those traditions with compassion for animals (and awesome vegan food, of course).
So, stay tuned for some North Dakota classics!
